After My Death, The Villain Blackened Again: Chapter 91
ARC 2: THE FILM EMPEROR FROM HUMBLE ORIGINS (46)
Fortunately, the nearby staff helped clear a path for him to enter the van without trouble.
Qi Yuan first went to the apartment they both lived in.
The place was deserted. No signs of her return could be seen anywhere. Because it hadn't been occupied for a long time, dust had collected on the table.
He stood at the door and didn't move for a long time.
It seemed as though he could hear her voice from when she first ushered him into this apartment, but there was no trace of her.
At this moment, he regretted it to the extreme.
If, if she knew she would be so angry, he would have never broken the barrier between them.
Mother Xu called to ask where he and Father Xu had gone when Qi Yuan thought of something. Maybe Mother Xu knew her overseas phone number. He was back home, and Mother Xu was sure to tell her the news. Because of this, he happily returned with Father Xu.
As soon as we walked through the door, Qi Yuan saw a little bean struggling to climb up the sofa.
A little girl with pigtails on the top of her head immediately turned around when she heard the sound of the door. Her big eyes stared at Qi Yuan, who stared back at her.
Two pairs of eyes met, and they were both curious about the other.
The little kid forgot all about climbing the sofa and fell to the ground with a thud, where she immediately began to wail in a loud voice.
Mother Xu heard her cries from the kitchen and rushed out to coax her.
As Qi Yuan stared at her delicate appearance, which looked so much like that woman, he stood there by the door, unable to react.
Mother Xu smiled and waved at him: "A Yuan hurry up and come in. Why are you standing there like a fool?"
Suddenly, he reacted and walked over to Mother Xu. He wanted to hold the child, but Mother Xu bypassed him and handed her over to Father Xu before explaining: "Xiao Ge's naughty. Your body is still weak. We can't let her kick you."
Qi Yuan nodded then walked inside without taking his eyes off the chubby little kid.
Father Xu and Mother Xu exchanged glances.
Qi Yuan had a heart transplant, and the doctor specifically said that he shouldn't be stimulated.
Their daughter was the one who brought him home. He always treasured and respected her like an older sister. After discussing the matter between themselves, they decided not to tell Qi Yuan about her death for fear he wouldn't be able to handle it.
They have already lost a daughter, and their 'son' had recovered his life after so much difficulty. They can't let him have any mishaps.
Father Xu and Mother Xu had agreed on this before Qi Yuan was discharged from the hospital.
Mother Xu didn't know how to lie, so she shouted, "The stove is still on, I'll go cook first," then went back into the kitchen.
Father Xu played with the child in his arms. When he heard her stammer out "Grandpa", he pointed to Qi Yuan and told her: "This is your uncle. Say 'Uncle'."
The little baby hadn't yet learned how to speak properly. She stared at Qi Yuan with watery eyes and gurgled in a loud voice.
Father Xu motioned Qi Yuan to sit on the sofa with him. Before Qi Yuan asked, he sighed and whispered: "This is your sister's child."
Qi Yuan had already guessed this from the little doll's striking resemblance to Yan Ge, but when Father Xu's words confirmed it, his heartbeat seemed to stagnate. His mind was thoroughly blank, and he began to despair.
Did she already get married and have a child?

Delete“If, if she knew she would be so angry, he would have never broken the barrier between them.” BrUH? That’s still the only reason you regret ra**ng her??????? Akhsjdkfkejdkfkg
ReplyDeleteHE MAKES ME SO UNCONTROLLABLY ANGRY. Hopefully the whole point of these ML is that we don't like them because from now on all the Men in this novel are one fine line away from being rapists.
DeleteIt'd be better if he died on the spot, but that is a waste of her heart.
