After My Death, The Villain Blackened Again: Chapter 90
ARC 2: THE FILM EMPEROR FROM HUMBLE ORIGINS (45)
He had been so close to the discharge date but was now back in the intensive care unit.
Later on, he learned about his damaged heart and how his current one had been donated by another.
It was good fortune to have received a suitable heart.
During the rejection period, Qi Yuan took medicine like it was food. He gained weight from it. He was also shaved bald.
At one point, he secretly looked in the mirror and came to see how fat and ugly he had become.
He looked forward to her arrival every day, but once he saw his reflection, he hoped she wouldn't appear. That way, she doesn't get to see him in this state.
He urged Father Xu: "It's not easy for Jiejie to study abroad. Dad, you and Mom shouldn't tell her about me. If she calls after seeing the news, just say it was overstated. It was only a slight injury, and I'll be fine."
When he heard this, Father Xu's aged eyes landed on Qi Yuan's body. He opened his mouth until he finally answered: "Okay!"
Qi Yuan began to battle against the illness in earnest.
He told himself that if he survived this time around, he would buy a ring and propose to her. No matter what method he used, he would marry her home.
He wanted them to get married, have children together, and become a real family.
He didn't want to waste time adjusting to her perspective anymore.
But after one condition was overcome, another followed.
Sometimes he couldn't bear the pain and thought it was just better to die.
He thought to himself, how good it would be to see her one more time.
After thinking that way, his heart filled up with hate and resentment.
How could she be so cruel? He was dying, but she won't even come to see him.
Even if Father Xu and Mother Xu concealed it from her, covering up his news was like trying to cover heaven and earth. If she was remotely concerned about him, she would have visited him in person.
She kept saying that she regarded him as her brother, yet she wouldn't see him when he's about to die.
Even if he was wrong back then, why won't she give him a chance to change things?
He felt so wronged and bitter. He wasn't reconciled and was filled with resentment.
But in the end, all his hateful sentiments changed into hope and expectation.
She must not have learned about his news.
Or maybe she guessed he was injured but wasn't willing to see him because of the previous thing.
That's right, given her arrogance and the grievance, there was no way she would yield first.
He has to cooperate with the treatment. He has to get well soon so he can go find her, admit his mistakes to her face, and repent.
As long as she forgave him, he would do anything she wanted.
These thoughts swirled in his mind every day while he fought, and they encouraged him to survive another day.
He would often stare at her number on his cellphone or look at her photos.
Maybe it's because she was studying abroad, the media didn't cover any news about her. Her Weibo hadn't been updated in a long time either.
He could only browse through old news over and over again.
In the blink of an eye, a year passed.
Qi Yuan almost regarded the hospital as his home.
Fortunately, the time was not a waste. He no longer had to stay in that boring sterile ward anymore.
He could go home.
'Go home.' It sounded nice.
The doctor said his body was all right for the time being. As long as he paid attention to it, he could live a long life.
But what he really cared about was whether he could still pa-pa-pa.
Will the excitement overstimulate his heart?
He was embarrassed to ask, but the doctor was accustomed to this and answered seriously: "It's better to be moderate and not do anything overstimulating."
He is so young. Will she even like it if he's too moderate?
She already wasn't satisfied with him. If his bed skills were no good, wouldn't she dislike him even more?
Qi Yuan suddenly felt he was had a great matter to worry about.

The author has something to say:-
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––
I see there haven't been many messages these past two days. No one can stand the tragedy. I've been wronged ah. Panpan likes happy stories, but because the plot is open-ended, these two arcs were a bit of a tear-jerker. But it will be all right soon. Ganbare1 everyone! Hang in there and read me, read me, read me~
- Ganbareromanization for a Japanese word that means to cheer someone (or a team) on↩︎
She mentioned cutting off his d*ck before, so I doubt his inability to perform would bother her 😂
ReplyDeleteHis emotions have gone through the whole spectrum, phew. I fear how he'll react once he hears the truth about her and meets their child.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chapters!
I can't help but wonder the author came up with such hateful characters, honestly... Only know how to rape, be forceful and doesn't consider other's feelings at all. All of them are just so selfish and pathetic.
ReplyDeleteHehe really enjoying the story so far, the rape was surprising though...
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely disgusted with this arc and this chapter.
ReplyDeleteSome quotes that had me physically unwell
"He didn't want to waste time adjusting to her perspective anymore."
"She kept saying that she regarded him as her brother, yet she wouldn't see him when he's about to die.
Even if he was wrong back then, why won't she give him a chance to change things?"
"That's right, given her arrogance and the grievance, there was no way she would yield first."
"But what he really cared about was whether he could still pa-pa-pa."
All of them reflect one message from Qi Yuan. All he thinks about is himself. He's selfish and unable to empathize with others. Even the person he claims to love. He has no respect for their best interest when it doesn't align with himself.
I've never been so disgusted.
