Bai Xiyue really wanted to cry.

When she heard that it was Diyi Hospital, her heart dropped at the thought of this scene taking place.

"What did I do wrong for you to do this?" Shang Junzhuo murmured while pressing down on her shoulder.

"Nothing. You're a good person. I'm the bad one. You deserve better."

"Is he better than me? Does he treat you better than I do?"

Shang Junzhuo couldn't figure it out.

He had done his best for her.

Never had he been so careful with a person. Bai Xiyue had also agreed to everything he asked.

What was the point if she was going to betray him in the end?

He tried so hard to control himself so as not to expose his darks hide, so she wouldn't be afraid of him and stay away.

Shang Junzhuo touched Bai Xiyue's fair face, from her eyebrows down to her lips.

He looked at the panicked eyes of the woman he loved and reassuringly kissed the corners.

"How long have you been with him?"

Bai Xiyue didn't answer. Her consciousness seemed to be drifting away.

"Have you done... those filthy things?"

Shang Junzhuo looked displeased. If his princess was dirty, then she must be cleaned thoroughly, from the inside out.

[Bai Xiyue]: Tongzi, help me! Ahhhhh!!!

[Bai Xiyue]: It's already gone this far! Why aren't we leaving yet?!

[System]: We are! At what point does Host wish to return to?

[Bai Xiyue]: Can you find out when and where that fucking car accident happened?

[System]: Anything can be found if it occurred in the past.

While she was planning out the menu, she suddenly felt a force pull her back. "Aiyoh!" she cried out, after which she saw a car whizz in front of her then crash into the nearby guardrail.

She belatedly broke into a cold sweat. She might have gotten struck down if she hadn't been pulled back in time.

Turning around, she wanted to find her savior, but only caught sight of a girl in a hat walking away from the crowd.

She immediately asked the people around her who was the one to pull her, but most people weren't paying attention, and those that were didn't see her clearly since she wore a mask.

The lingering fears caused her to pat her chest. She immediately called her son.

Bai Xiyue successfully concealed her merit.

She threw the mask into a public trash can where she reclaimed her clothes, then left to pick up dinner for herself.

The restaurant she chose had good business. While waiting for her food, she received a message from Jian Ning.

Looking at the words "I'm so thankful for that kind person" on her screen, she followed up with grateful words on her part and accepted the double appreciation.

As she tucked her phone back into her back, Bai Xiyue's eyes unconsciously landed on one of the tables.

It was Chen Qingzhu. He was sitting opposite a woman who was holding his hand.
