Ex-Girlfriend Blackens Every Day: Chapter 9
ARC 1: WHITE LOTUS EX-GIRLFRIEND (9)
He prepared things so well that the Jiang family's impression of him soared. At the very least, it showed that this future son-in-law valued the eldest miss very much and wasn't planning on negligently ending matters with a marriage certificate. Please read this at onemachineshow.blogspot.com
Jiang Qiyun didn't open the gift. He folded his arms and coldly watched on as the man used flowery words to please his future father-in-law.
Linlang was sitting next to her fiancé. The couple's fingers were interlocked and their gazes would fall on each other from time to time. Jiang Qiyun's eyes stung from the romantic spectacle. Chen Qingli sincerely expressed his love for Linlang and hoped that Father Jiang would allow him to marry his daughter.
The original plan was for them to marry after graduation, but Chen Qingli always worried about changes happening over time. No sooner had he fixed a wedding date than he wanted to hold the wedding ceremony. Too many people coveted Linlang and there was no shortage of outstanding suitors among them. If he hadn't moved fast enough, the present him would have had no choice but to secretly suffer heartbreak over his dream goddess.
"A month later? Isn't that too fast?" Jiang Father hesitated.
"Dad, don't worry. My family has wedding planners. They will prepare everything. Not to mention a month, it can all be done in a week. Of course, this is our once in a lifetime event. I hope for everything to be perfect!"
Chen Qingli was not the least bit ashamed as he called Father Jiang 'Dad'.
Because of his company's expansion, Chen Qingli had a time where he was preoccupied with urgent business matters. As a result, the engagement ceremony wasn't held and so Father Jiang only got to hear this satisfying appellation today!
Having coaxed the future father-in-law, he sighed in relief.
Preparations for the wedding of the century were now in full swing.
After hearing news of Linlang's marriage, her good friends came to visit one after another. They either accompanied her to choose a wedding dress or bought household items together. For an entire month, Linlang left early and returned home late. Jiang Qiyun couldn't plug himself in anywhere.
The teenager's disposition darkened by the day, but he still showed a radiant smile on his face.
The night before the Verona wedding, Linlang was trying on her wedding dress that had been privately flown in from Paris.
As Jiang Qiyun pushed the door open, a sudden glint flashed in his eyes.
The lengthily dress was embellished with fine diamonds, and the bride had pulled her long hair to the side to reveal a slender snow-white neck. One could lose themselves in the reverie of that scene under the bright lights. She was struggling to fasten the buckle of her ruby necklace.
The door was suddenly opened, and Linlang jumped in fright. Only after turning her head did she sigh from relief. "It's just you."
Dearest Sister, it's no good to relax your vigilance like this.
How do you know a nightmare hasn't just slipped inside the room?
Jiang Qiyun quietly closed the door, isolating the noisy footsteps of the outside.
Only two of them were there, yet the other party was unaware of the danger stealthily approaching her.
He walked slowly, and a shallow dimple was engraved next to his raised lips. Those clear eyes were like an innocent angel when he exclaimed, "Sister, you're so beautiful today."
Beautiful to make people want to destroy her happiness.
"Here, I'll help you wear the necklace." He played the role of a considerate younger brother and invaded her domain step by step.
"Oh... Okay."Please read this at onemachineshow.blogspot.com
She turned her head and tucked in her belly to make her posture more satisfactory.
The fine and velvety nape was presented to the other, and her defenselessness was both fragile and beautiful.
Jiang Qiyun's fingers seemed to inadvertently flit across her skin as he reached out to receive the precious necklace. The sharp contrast between coolness and warmth caused the bride to shudder. As he stared at her flushed earlobe from this angle, it exuded a subconscious charm.
"Um, on TV I saw that brides throw bouquets, is that right?" The teenager's voice sounded somewhat confused, as if he truly didn't understand.
Linlang smoothened her lips in a smile. "Of course, when the wedding ceremony ends, the bride will turn her back to the guests and throw the flowers. Should a person catch it, they will be more blessed."
"I see..." The corners of the brother's eyebrows raised slightly, "Then when the time comes, I'll have to trouble Sister Linlang to turn a blind eye and not throw it too far away from your brother."
Linlang turned her head in surprise. She burst out laughing and teased him, saying, "You, you're such a child. You're not even done with school. It's fine not to pick it up. Wait a few more years and take your time. There's no rush."
"How's that possible?" He lowered his eyes and covered the gloomy glint. "At Sister's one and only wedding, I’m your closest person. Shouldn't you be giving me your bouquet?"
Feeling helpless over her brother's pestering, she placated him. "Okay, okay. I'll give it to you. I'll give the whole thing to you."’
Kacha.
The buckle was clasped.
The youth lowered his hands. He stood beside the bride and they both looked at the mirror's scenery.
It was as if he was the groom.
"In that case, Sister might as well be a good person and send Buddha to the west1—"
The teenager released a steamy breath.
"Send a bride to your brother."
His unfathomable mind poured out like a torrent.
"What?"
Suddenly, he made a move. One hand was on Linlang's shoulder while the other grabbed her chin as he forced a kiss on her. He gave her no time react at all.
He was vicious, like a starved beast seizing a meal for survival by any means possible.
The bride's eyes widened in disbelief. She couldn't believe what was happening— The person who loved and treasured her for many years was ruining her at the most beautiful moment of her life!
"You said you'd always be by my side.
"Lies, everything was a lie. Please read this at onemachineshow.blogspot.com
"Liars should pay the price!"
The big and misty eyes that normally attracted the tenderness of others were now scarlet red, bearing the close expression of a deranged maniac.
Linlang was petrified and stared at him in a stupor. It was the first time seeing such a frenzied appearance on him.
The look was so unfamiliar it terrified her.
"You've been really disobedient. How should I punish you?" Jiang Qiyun caressed Linlang's long hair in a gentle and intimate gesture. He had recovered his usual calm, and his face was adorned with a bright smile girls would fawn over.
He pulled back his red lips in a grin, revealing a row of spotlessly white teeth, yet an eerie and cold air came through without cause.
In that moment, it was as if a devil had crawled out of hell.

Verona is a beautiful town in Italy. It also happens to be the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. I know it's considered to be a romantic place to have a wedding, but I personally think it's ironic to cement one's love at a place known for one of the most self-destructive love stories ever hailed in western literature. Isn't it foreboding?
Lol; and here I thought he will just silently suffer his whole life after his sister's wedding XDD Instead he's planning to ruin his relationship with her for forever XDD??
ReplyDeleteWell if he can't have her no one can apparently
