Fortunately, Xue Shen was determined not to fall short. He jumped a grade and completed his high school studies to go study abroad. After returning to China, he came to work in the Xue family business, where he gradually made a name for himself. Linlang raised her head, "Master Xue, aren't you being too meddlesome? No matter what, I'm still considered to be your future sister-in-law. Your attitude really breaks my heart..."
"I don't care. You're going to someone else's bride."
The man's voice was suddenly lighthearted.
Taking advantage of the girl's bewilderment, Xue Shen pulled her into him and kissed her with unyielding force.
His hands were icy cold as if they were steeped in snow water. The cool touch on her waist was a sharp contrast to his warms lips that burned like the sun. His posture was barbaric, like a robber plundering invaluable jewelry.
In a flash, Xue Shen was beaten to the ground by a fist.
The glasses were crushed at his feet.
"Xue Shen, you son of a bitch!"
Xue Shao's eyes crackled. He pulled the man up by the collar and punched him fiercely, like a blood-thirsty devil impatient to destroy everything.
Xue Shen, who had blood on the corner of his mouth, quickly fought back after receiving two punches. An elbow slammed into Xue Shao's chest, which forced him back several steps.
The man jumped back on his feet. Xue Shen's ruffled hair was now covering his eyes. When had the man who was always meticulously dressed ever look so ragged? He didn't even care to wipe the blood on his face and smiled faintly as he said, "Brother, Linlang doesn't like you. You have never been able to keep her."
"Fuck you!" Xue Shao was furious enough to ascend the heavens.
"Who do you think you are!"
The pair fought once again, bringing disaster to the precious plants and flowers around them.
"Don't fight, don't fight!"
Zhang Mengmeng spoke in a sobbing tone, but the red-eyed brothers couldn't hear it.
When the Xue parents rushed over and caught sight of the fratricide about to take place, their insides ached from the sheer anger. They quickly ordered a few strong servants to separate the brothers.
"Look at what you both look like! You have lost face for my Xue family! I should have strangled you little bastards at the start!" The ever-gentle Father Xue was absolutely incensed.
When the two brothers were pried apart, both were panting heavily. Their faces were battered and the corners of their lips were stained with blood. They had both laid a heavy hand with the intention of beating the other severely.
The scolding of Father Xue and the weeping cries of a young girl was all that was left.
"Master, are you okay? You're bleeding a lot..." Zhang Mengmeng cried and rushed forward. She was beautiful and had a cute bun face that could melt people's hearts when she cried.

Xue Shao shook her away with impatience and spitefully spat out the blood in his mouth. The young man who had just passed the coming-of-age ceremony was so frigid that it shocked Mother Xue. He was like a ferocious wolf protecting its food. "Xue Shen, if you dare touch her, I won't let you go!"
Xue Shen simply laughed. Those eyes of his were equally severe.
He cast a fleeting glance at the crying girl and clenched his fists slightly.
As the mistress of the house, Mother Xue quickly found the culprit from these words. She pierced the neat and tidy-looking Linlang with a grim look. She will never allow this girl to enter their Xue household! If she can hook the soul of the elder brother while having a relationship with the younger one and even turn the amicable brothers into enemies, isn't she a calamity?
Father Xue didn't think as far as Mother Xue. He only had a headache over the fight, but he endured it in order to clean up their mess. Although today was a family banquet, a few people did bring other relatives and friends. How could they cover things up with so many guests around?

The girl rested her chin on and hand, looking affronted by the miserly amount.
Mother Xue's face stiffened. Why doesn't this damn girl play by the cards? Mother Xue had looked into Xu Linlang's life experience. She was just a poor girl. Fifty thousand was already a huge sum for her.

The madam changed her mind. This was good. The more insatiable and vain this damned girl is, the more it proves that her motives for being with Xue Shao were impure. It was nothing more than eyeing the Xue family's fortune! She wasn't sincere at all!

Linlang had the foresight to dodge before it happened.
"Okay, Xu Linlang, I underestimated you!" Mother Xue angrily wrote a few zeros on the cheque, "This is 100 million. You better roll out for me!"
The girl smacked her lips. With a look of regret, she said, "Madam, there's still four hundred million..."
"Xu. Lin. Lang! Don't push your luck!" Mother Xue was so furious that she could almost vomit blood. Does she think five hundred million is a small amount?
"Okay then. It's better than nothing."
Linlang shrugged. "I'll be leaving first, Madam."
Mother Xue sneered as she stood up. She turned around and nearly ran into someone's chest.
The hand that grabbed her shoulder squeezed so tightly, she felt as if her bones were getting crushed.

"What a coincidence, Young Master Xue."
Linlang raised her head and smiled. "Since you're here, you might as well know that I've made a deal with your mother. She gave me money and asked me to leave you. It's a hundred million ah. Because the conditions were very attractive, I agreed.
"So, let's break up." She said it easily without any hesitation.
She downplayed everything so much as if to eliminate all their sentiment.
The boy's eyes gradually darkened. "You were with me because of money?"
"Otherwise?"
The girl’s eyebrows curled like beautiful crescent moons. “You love fighting, you pick up girls, you go to bars, and you have previous convictions from drinking and smoking. The infuriated Xue Shao violently kicked over the tables and chairs next to him.
Mother Xue was scared witless.

ReplyDeleteMother Xue is an idiot. Her drinking, smoking, partying waste of a son became serious, started studying, and stopped all of his bad habits because of a girl. When that happens, you put the girl on the pay role, not try to send her off. Mother Xue is gong to regret getting greedy and trying to get rid of the best girl her boorish son will ever bring home because she had 99 good qualities, but lacked the 1 of being from a rich family.
